Controlling the Remix Decks of traktor pro with one program for every controller
Some of you know me of the article on DJTECHTOOLS of "four hacker projects unlock traktor remix decks".
I've worked out my project to a single .exe file
features:
1) first time a guided setup of your midi controller (with interface)
2) other times are the preferences loaded automaticly, so no setup everytime
3) for every controller
4) I can make a midi-fighter version for you guys.
5) It's free (no surveys, no adds. I did it just for the fame ^^)
This is pc only (at the moment....)

How to use effects to get better crowd reaction - guide
There is a huge list of effects (on Traktor at least), and it is hard to decide when and why to use them in order to make an impression on the crowd. It is not hard to apply an effect on your mix, the hard part is to apply the effect at the right time in order to obtain best results. I know this can very well be something that every DJ does and it becomes somewhat of a characterizing part of his/her style, but there is a general consensus on a number of technics that can be thought of…

Reviews about "underground" artists
I would love to hear how other producers do their own tunes, what they like about their own style, what is their core tecnique and more. You can pick an "underground artists" (means like...skilled bedroom producers, not-famous artists...) every week, asking them some interesting question.
WHY SHOULD YOU DO IT? Answer: WHY NOT? upcoming artists have a free mind, free way to approach stuff and I think it is usefull to listen to their words and tunes in order to get inspired and boost personal creativity.
I am keen on this particular topic. If you need it I can help…

More performance techniques for a range of uses. Emphasis on using that many unused tools in traktor and comparable softwares.
We often overlook some of the most impressive features of the performance softwares that use. How to better us the loop recorder and perform it in a live set. How to incorporate original music into a set. Using the clips section to play dj tools to live remix music.

Legal rights, MP3, DRM, Law!
Hey Guys! I think that many of you will find this interesting and useful!
So, as I heard, every acc file you download from Beatport etc, is coded with DRM. As you download your songs to windows platform, and then copy this files to your gig laptop - mac, the DRM disappears due to some "technical" stuff. The same thing is while you backup your music library into external drive. NOW, The problem appears for example in Poland. The police is controlling some of the clubs in order to find the illegal downloaded music, and thats okej. But, sometimes while…15 votesCan anyone verify that the police are checking songs for DRM as proof of ownership? Never heard of this anywhere.

Tutorial: Mad Zachs Sample packs
I really like Zachs sample packs, i think it would be great if he showed us how he makes them so we could make our own and share them on the forum. it would be good if you could include why he decided on the current layout, how he decides on sound design aspects, and how to liven up the samples (make more interesting/complex).

How to approach record labels & get your tracks singed.
It would be great to do a article on the do's and don't of how to go about getting your tracks signed to a record label.
Maybe you can get some inside advise form big artists and top labels.
Also you should include a pice on some new creative ways to approach this task.
And for all the new producers like my self it will also be solid if this article gave a brief intro on how the music industry works, in terms of record deals, track signing and copy rites and so on.The method of emailing your track…

OEM DJ equipment and controllers from Asia.
I have seen a lot of OEM DJ equipment that looks to me like it is made in the same factory's as the Big brands in China. Lots of controllers and Dj equipment that has a KIRF image to people in the west. Is this stuff any good and are we being ripped off as DJ's are suckers for brands and image.
