Hello folks,
I made a bid Tutorial about The Bridge for you all.
Everything starts from ground zero so you can be sure that even the beginners can follow me and understand what I am doing.
It is all well explained in a PDF-Document which is about 28 pages long.
I am still working on it, if you find mistakes I'd like to know and correct them.
This tutorial is just about 50% of everything I know and my knowledge is still growing up every day.
Thats the reason why I called it Version 1.0

Check me out for updates and of course I will show every "new feature" in a own video.

I am also workin on other ways like using Ableton for a good Mixtape production without a TTM57SL/61/62.
Maybe without MIDI-Faders.

Everything new will be posted in this Thread by myself.

There is a huge list of effects (on Traktor at least), and it is hard to decide when and why to use them in order to make an impression on the crowd. It is not hard to apply an effect on your mix, the hard part is to apply the effect at the right time in order to obtain best results. I know this can very well be something that every DJ does and it becomes somewhat of a characterizing part of his/her style, but there is a general consensus on a number of technics that can be thought of as standard/ basic.

Hey Guys! I think that many of you will find this interesting and useful!
So, as I heard, every acc file you download from Beatport etc, is coded with DRM. As you download your songs to windows platform, and then copy this files to your gig laptop - mac, the DRM disappears due to some "technical" stuff. The same thing is while you backup your music library into external drive. NOW, The problem appears for example in Poland. The police is controlling some of the clubs in order to find the illegal downloaded music, and thats okej. But, sometimes while checking music on your computer, they can't find drm due to issues when you copy music from your computers or back up. That puts you in extreme situation because you don't have any evidence to protect your rights!

I think it would be quite an interesting topic to know what you can put on your "DJ Rider" and what not. Which kind of technical equipment you can expect from the club to bring for you? If it is okay to request a CDJ 2000 why is for example some sort of Midi Controller like the Kontrol X1 not okay even though many DJs use one. Also is it okay to request a certain sound card (e.g. Rane SL3). I have heard some DJ do. How big in terms of fame, do you as a DJ have to be, to be taken seriously with a rider?

Maybe it is a good idea to ask some bigger DJs when they started to use tech-riders and why.

I could imagine for example a "What's in your DJ Bag" with some one like A-Trak. In which you could ask him about how his tech riders has reduced the size of his DJ Bag. ;)

I think this might be an interesting topic as I heard some crazy story from Promoters about DJs and their partly extreme riders...
